Berlin Pop-Up

Berlin, Germany

In a world wired for uniformity, difference is too often dialed down, that the instinct to blend in blurs away the edges of who we truly are.

In Berlin, we set out to challenge that instinct, reframing South Asian identity as nuanced and unapologetic. Through an evening of fashion, food, music, and art, we explored South Asian culture with intention.

In collaboration with two odd and and supported by fable and mane, this gathering reminded us that Individuality is not rebellion, it’s a return to self. And in returning to ourselves, we make space for others to do the same.

Alongside this journey of reimagining what remains, we found resonance with a women led artisan collective rom craftizen foundation, whose innovative approach bridges traditional artisan techniques with contemporary design, extending our intention of making the old new, and the overlooked visible. Artisans from iro iro zero waste brought their distinct creative vision into the fold, aligning with our belief that collaboration is a form of mending, where diverse voices come together to shape a shared story of continuity and rebirth.

The evening unfolded not only in craft but also in sound and spirit—our space illuminated by the rhythms of two DJs  C_Spice and Jivi2mebaby , an interplayhindustani band performances by Dr. Neelay MehendaleParag Chitale, and Shri Datta M G and the soulful flute performance by Divyadhanush Rai.

It became a space where different minds could meet around one core idea. The core idea being not just to show our vision, but to invite interpretation of the culture and tradition that can sometimes feel hidden beneath modern influence.
