Our story

NOTHING WASTED. EVERYTHING REIMAGINED.

Bodements is rooted in the revival of preloved and vintage Indian textiles, reimagined into one-of-a-kind contemporary silhouettes. Each piece is a celebration of cultural heritage and Indian craftsmanship. We believe in innovation through preservation. What was once forgotten is now reimagined. What was once past is now future.

Bodements began as India’s first vintage store, reviving pieces once cherished so they could be loved again.

What started with curating vintage soon evolved into reimagining forgotten textiles—giving them new life as contemporary silhouettes.

Today, every piece is made slowly and intentionally from materials that already exist, handcrafted by local artisans. At Bodements, fashion is a dialogue between past and future—honoring craft, empowering community, and keeping beauty in circulation

initiatives

We believe growth should be collective — as we evolve, so should the world around us. At Bodements, circularity lies at the heart of everything we do. Our initiatives reflect this commitment: giving back, creating responsibly, and engaging with the communities that shape our journey.

AIACA

Since we began designing, we’ve saved every scrap of fabric left behind in production. In partnership with AIACA—a women-led NGO supporting artisan communities—these remnants are reborn as accessories like scrunchies, pouches, and fabric butterflies. Each creation reminds us that circularity is not just a concept, but a living practice—one we continue to celebrate and evolve with.

CRAFTIZEN

At Bodements, we believe what remains can become a beginning. In collaboration with Craftizen Foundation, women artisans transform leftover textiles into bucket hats, journals, pouches, and bags. This partnership not only preserves craft but also empowers women with sustainable livelihoods—where luxury speaks not of excess, but of preservation, memory, and care.

IRO IRO

In collaboration with Iro Iro Zero Waste, we gathered our tiniest offcuts—pieces often deemed too small to matter—and reimagined their purpose. Segregated into shades of red, pink, and orange for their emotional resonance, each fragment was rewoven by village artisans on traditional looms. The result is a meditation on transformation: a living archive of texture, time, and intention. A reminder that circularity is not just about remaking, but about redefining what we choose to value—because nothing truly ends, it only changes form.
