Welcome to sharmila's bespoke journey
With her family roots in Kutch, Sharmila wanted her Mehendi look to carry echoes of what came before her, while still feeling firmly her own. The cholis became the starting point, pieces from home, reworked into something rooted yet modern.
The corset is cut from three antique cholis, a reinterpreted Vana without the slit, structured with a thick back lacing and finished with a concealed zip.
An ultra-cropped jacket ends precisely where the corset begins, creating a sharp visual pause. The pants and dupatta were developed to echo the same tonal language, with a fragment of the original choli placed centrally, a subtle anchor tying the entire look together.
