Welcome to Anai's bespoke journey
We call this piece “ANAI,” named after the client who helped us co-create this beautiful fusion that reflects both her vision and our craft.
we began with conversations about anai’s preferences on the silhouettes she’s drawn to, and how she wanted the final look to feel. It was clear that she wanted to preserve the sentiment of the saree while transforming it into something modern and empowering.
Based on that, we designed a hybrid of two corset styles: a sweetheart neckline blended with the Raina four-panel structure. This combination gave us the structure and shaping she loved.
Adjective borders were used for the corset, each one stitched together to create a continuous, intentional design. The skirt was cut from the main body of the saree to keep the flow and drape intact.
The whole fabric was deconstructed, reshaped and rebuilt it from the ground up.
Seeing a client step into something we’ve co-created is when it all really clicks.
