Welcome to Shoba's bespoke journey
As we move into this world of brides, every customisation that comes to us is so full of nuance and personal touches.
Shoba knew exactly what she wanted, a white saree, pearl embroidery, everything minimal; but was also certain she wanted an exaggerated, heavily embroidered veil with her dog’s name on it. And we worked together to make that happen.
For us, the joy is in that journey, incorporating handwork and embroidery that is completely custom to the personal references.
Every customisation is so unique to the individual, and we find so much meaning in being able to stay one of a kind while giving our clients exactly what they envisioned.
And as for her mehendi, Shoba’s brief to us was simple and profound in equal measure:
she wanted to honour her mother’s brocade silk saree by carrying it into the most intimate moments of her own wedding day.
What we created was a three-piece set: a chiffon cape, an A-line skirt, and a brocade blouse adorned with zardozi and pearl embroidery.
The idea is never to overpower what already exists, but to gently build onto it.
